Untreated, chemical-free, 100% cotton muslin is unsized and tightly woven. This firmly woven cloth can be washed to remove accumulated dust and pollutants. Cotton muslin garment bags are a conservation alternative to plastic garment bags often made of polyvinyl chloride which emits hydrochloric acid. Material can also be used as a spine lining and hinging material for book conservation. Muslin should be washed before use. 152 cm wide.
